For their “Trash the Dress” session, we met at Makena (Big Beach) and started out taking photos by the trees, then made our way down to the beach for a beautiful sunset. These two barely needed any direction, as they were so natural and affectionate towards one another the entire time. This is the photographer’s dream; I hope all of my clients will feel this comfortable in front of the camera.

Towards the end of our photo shoot, they decided to go into the ocean a bit and roll around in the surf and sand – so much fun!!! It was such a pleasure to photograph the expressions of love and spontaneity; they were so alive and present in each moment.

Alyson and Phil, I’m so happy to know the two of you and to have had the chance to photograph your wedding and honeymoon! I hope you come back to Maui in the next year or two and we are able to meet up again. If I am ever visiting Toronto, I will be sure to give you a ring. Best wishes to you in your new life together!
