I met up with Alda and Bob at Cafe Marc Aurel to talk over the details of their upcoming wedding, while chatting over coffee. Alda and I have been corresponding through email and Facebook for several months now, so it was very nice to meet in person. After coffee, I took some engagement photos in Wailuku Town and Iao Valley and we all had a wonderful day of it! I am so excited and really looking forward to their wedding in January. It’s wonderful to do an engagement session before the big day because we really get to know each other on a personal level, and they get a chance to know my style and be that much more comfortable with the person behind camera, before the wedding day. Bob and Alda — thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your engagement and wedding photos. I am so happy to know both of you and to be your photographer!

oooh, I give them (and you) MUCHO credit for going out on that green walkway thingy. I tried to get a couple to do that and they refused once they saw it was COVERED in bugs! But it’s totally worth it for that shot!
