Kula Maui Wedding | Hina & Kingi

I’ve known Hina for years.  She is one of my best friend’s (Alesa) sister.  I was really excited to be able to photograph Hina and Kingi’s wedding.  The entire day was unique and touching.  Hina’s family from Hawaii welcomed Kingi’s family from New Zealand the begin the ceremony.  Pia Aluli officated and did a beautiful job.  Every special touch from Hina’s beautiful blue dress to the floral arrangements on the tables was created and made possible by family and friends.  Throughout the day, everyone could feel Hina and Kingi’s love for one another.  After the ceremony we had some sweet sunset light for photos. The evening was lively — guests celebrated and toasted to their marriage and Hina danced a hula for Kingi. Delicous Hawaiian food was served and for dessert, everyone enjoyed a jelato bar – how fun!

Hina and Kingi – I am so happy for the two of you.  I wish you a lifetime filled with happiness and joy together.

Kelly Arbor - What a beautiful wedding! Joanna, I loved the slideshow so much I watched it twice, crying as if I were there. I love how you captured so much emotion; someone wiping away a tear, nose kisses, and other tender gestures. nice choice of music as well. Who is the recording artist?
