Katie and Ryan decided on an intimate destination wedding at the Seawatch on Maui. Along with family and close friends, they came to Maui from Arizona. I knew Katie was so sweet from our phone conversation a couple of months back. I then got acquainted with her and Ryan on FACEBOOK – what a wonderful way to get to know a bit about my clients! Katie looked absolutely gorgeous on her wedding day. She wore her her down with a flower in her ear and had a simple, elegant grace to her.
The couple said I-do on the lower knoll at the Seawatch. This is one of my favorite spots! As a photographer, I couldn’t ask for a prettier backdrop and such sweet light! We took some photos right near the ceremony spot and then headed down to the beach. Katie and Ryan were so wonderful to work with! Their love for one another is so inspiring and beautiful! To top it off they look like models that should be on the cover of a magazine. In fact, Katie did have some modeling experience.
We headed up to the reception where the couple enjoyed dinner under the open night sky. Katie and Ryan, I am so happy for the two of you and I wish you all the best in your new life together as husband and wife.
